CANCUN FLIGHTS

LOCATION
The Cancun international airport is located on the northeast of the Yucatan Peninsula right at the Cancun-Chetumal highway on Km 22 Benito Juarez, Quintana Roo. The CANCUN AIRPORT is located about 25 minutes north of the city of Cancun, 45 minutes from the town of Playa del Carmen, and about 90 minutes from the town of Tulum. The CANCUN AIRPORT is accessible by taxi, bus or airport shuttle that leaves you right at the door of your hotel.

TERMINAL
There are three main TERMINALS in the CANCUN AIRPORT which receive thousands of flights daily leaving and arriving into the tropical paradise. Terminal 1 is used by charter airlines arriving and departing from North America which also includes domestic charter airlines. Terminal 2 is used by some international airlines, as all of the scheduled domestic airlines, and new Terminal 3 handles primarily international operations of airlines from North America and Europe. All terminals feature amenities to make travel easier such as: internet, public telephones, money exchange, and pharmacies.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION
There are a variety of options for GROUND TRANSPORTATION to and from the CANCUN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. Shared shuttles take you directly from the airport to the front door of your hotel, vacation rental or condo and are an economic way to travel into whichever city you are vacationing at in the Maya Riviera. Buses are also available for travelers on a budget and without time constraints. Taxis from the AIRPORT are also available, and private, VIP and Luxury transportation options are available directly through the CANCUN AIRPORT.
